I’m tired of writing about this Roadmap thing, but I’m even more tired of the bumbling idiots residing in the State Department. I cannot believe how these idiots warn of “inciting outrage” within the Pali-Muslim community when outrage is a way of life for these people. It has been reported that both Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice telephoned Israeli and PA leaders and warned Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to suspend the military plans of either placing Arafat in exile or killing him.
Powell needs to wake up and smell the explosives. If terrorists were hitting the USA at the rate the Palestinians are hitting Israel, would he be as restrained? I would surely hope not. A thug is a thug, is a thug…period. And the sooner the State Department answers to this, the better. No problem going after the leader of Iraq and his bad boys, but no, Israel can’t harm Arafat. Why the double standard here?
To me, they are trying to appease the Saudis and the Muslims who are hell-bent on destroying Israel and the Great Satan, known as the USA. The religion of peace, my ass. They dare not call this a religious war. It is a religious war. They are afraid it would offend someone…and that someone would rather see all of Israel dead and buried. Such a wicked web they weave, huh?
President Bush so boldly dared the Iraqi thugs to “bring it on”, and they have, yet from the other side of his mouth he’s telling Israel to be patient and to turn the other cheek. What an insult to mankind everywhere. I’m reminded of the song by the late John Lennon, and the Beatles, singing “I read the news today, oh boy”…same old crap from this administration regarding Arafat. When will these people awake from their Golden Slumber? Arafat is no more than the head honcho of a broad terrorist organization, yet, Colin Powell and company coddles him as if he’s a kindred spirit. Maybe he is, who knows?

This is what Israel should be doing today, and with our blessings! A man such as Powell, who offered to work with either administration, either Bush or Gore, cannot be considered a patriot by any standard. He’s a dove is dove’s clothing….pure and simple. Read the above article and learn more about Arafat’s history and then tell me why the USA doesn’t want to harm a hair under his ragged towel! This is a bunch of BS and it stinks from on high. Why is this administration hell bent on protecting this killer, this terrorist of the worst degree?
Didn’t President Bush make it clear that if you were a terrorist group, or even harbored terrorists, you were either with us or against us? Then what gives with Arafat? Isn’t it funny how the administration goes to great lengths to endorse the Patriot Act while on the other hand, making nice with real terrorists? Somebody please explain the logic to me…because I just don’t get it.
I would hope for a Golda Meir in our lifetime, in our country, but it’s not in the cards. It’s for sure that Hillary Clinton is not the one to fill her shoes. This administration should show some outrage as to what Israel has had to endure, while constantly bowing to the stupid demands of the State Department, while the Israeli people quietly turn the other cheek. I can picture Jesus Christ walking into the State Department, turning over tables, and taking a whip to some of the people there. It would truly be deserved.
As this dumb Roadmap for Peace trudges on, there will be more terrorists attacks, more innocent bloodshed, and more Palistinian casualties, yet, the beat goes on. It reminds me of some drug couselors back in the mid 70’s who had this thing called “Yes, there is a process”, and then the book “I’m OK, You’re OK”…. it was PC before it’s time, and thankfully, I could see through the BS that it portrayed. Just as then, as is now, no matter what you wanna call it and how you want to deal with it.. right is right, and wrong is wrong. The truth is still the truth, and a lie is still a lie…unless, you’re a politician!
As this roadmap progresses, as in two steps forward and three steps back, I will be anxious to see what really happens. Bush doesn’t ant the Israeli’s to build this fence, this wall, and Powell wants no harm to come to Arafat, yet they both insist that they are friends of Israel. As the Bible so clearly states, you cannot serve two masters. One must clearly decide which side is right. Bob Dylan nailed it with his song “You Gotta Serve Somebody”, but that’s neither here nor there. Just an idea at the time. What’s needed is for this bunch of idiots at the State Department is to wise up, look at reality, and check the Word! It can’t be anymore clear than that. Remember, God had an Urban Renewal Plan for the Sodomites…surely he has a plan for the Palistinians as well, lest we become a stumbling block. God help us all, if this is so.
So, as you watch your news and read your papers, pay careful attention to the hypocrisy coming out of DC. It has the stench of cheap explosives. As our President said, you’re either for us or against us. Hope he is wearing a cup so that he doesn’t get saddle sore from straddling that proverbial fence. It cannot be a good feeling!
